The topic of the 2021 Northeast SST is Level 2: The Triune God—The Triune God and the Person and Work of Christ.

Week 2 (including Conference)

The 2021 Northeast Summer School of Truth will be both in-person and virtual. Week 2 message meetings will be conducted on Zoom, but some localities may meet in person. Check with your locality coordinators for more details. Health guidelines can be found here. 

General

1. Attendance at all meetings is mandatory.
2. The SST Schedule must be followed by everyone according to the arrangement established.
3. During meetings and overflow times, everyone is encouraged to participate.
4. All clothing worn during the entire SST must be proper and modest. No clothing, caps, or shirts with improper pictures, logos, or symbols may be worn.
5. All saints should maintain a proper restricted brother-sister relationship in all situations (in language, attitude, intention, and heart).
6. Cooperation and proper attitude toward all the serving ones is mandatory at all times.

Code of conduct for Zoom meetings and webinars

1. Mute your microphone
   • To help keep background noise to a minimum, make sure you mute your microphone when you are not speaking.
2. Be mindful of background noise
   • When your microphone is not muted, avoid activities that could create additional noise, such as shuffling papers, etc.
3. Turn on your camera
   • Be sure it is in a stable position and focused at eye level, if possible. Doing so helps create a more direct sense of engagement with other participants.
   • Be aware of what is in view of your camera, including things on the wall and other people in the house.
   • Please do not use any virtual backgrounds that may stumble the saints.
4. No photos or videos
   • Do not take photos, screen captures, or videos of any young person or serving one, and do not post them online or send them to anyone.

We look forward to everyone participating as much as their schedule will allow them.

For YP: For graduation purposes, we will take attendance at every meeting, including small groups. In order to get credit for the year, YP will have to attend 50% of all meetings.

For SOs: Please let your locality coordinator know what sessions you are available to attend.

We request that any parent who has YP under the age of 16 to assist them with creating a Zoom account.

For the Summer School of Truth meetings and small groups, we request that all participants be registered beforehand.

During Week 2, if parents would like to only join the main meetings, registration is not required. However, if parents would like to also join the small group meetings, we request that they register.
